Campus Missionary Training

Before starting my training at PAFCOE, I promised the Lord to go back and teach the youth on what I will learn. So on January 2015, amidst all the oppositions, accusations, false witness, lies, storms, heartaches, failures, we started the Campus Missionary Training.

It was my first time to teach Bible Doctrine and Personal Evangelism. It was a challenge for me but I relied on the grace of the Lord Jesus. Initially, there were 18 students who enrolled in the program but few of them have not been able to endure.

Our classes were held on a home of a friend. And we were glad he willingly let us use his flatscreen because we have no projector at that time. Our classes were scheduled on Sunday for 3 hours and 2 hours every weekend.

The students had their own experience on knocking on doors and looking for bible students. We also had quizzes on bible doctrines and personal evangelism, tardy assignments, outreach reports and so on. It was not a perfect training nevertheless, I know God has used even that simple outreach to souls. Now, there are 4 of them doing bible studies still and the Lord be praised for it.

Inception

The Lord has appointed the youth to be His helping hand.-Testimonies, vol. 7, p. 64.

Time is almost finished. Laborers together with GOD are needed. To this, a handful of youth has taken the step to search the scriptures and learn ways on how to effectively share Jesus in public universities and campuses. May the Lord be our guiding hand as we embark on this journey of learning how to win souls for Him!

With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Saviour might be carried to the whole world!–Education, p. 271

I Will Go

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isa 6:8

I took another step as I communed with Him who loved me.

I glanced at my feet as my mind clearly reminded me of what I fairly understood.

These feet are not mine anymore. My hands are not my property. My life is not my own.

Years backward, I never would have thought I would understand this commitment. But He called.

Give me the strength to commit my life to you wholly.

I will go where His glory is unknown

I will go where His glory is unknown

And the song gives it all.

Give me ears to hear your Spirit

Give me feet to follow through

Give me  hands to touch the hurting

And the faith to follow you

Give me grace to be a servant

Give me mercy for the lost

Give me passion for your glory

Give me passion for the cross

I’ll let go of my ambition

Cut the roots that run too deep

I will learn to give away

What I cannot really keep

I will go where there are no easy roads

Leave the comforts that I know

I will go and let this journey be my home

I will go, Lord where your glory is unknown

I will live for you alone

I will go because my life is not my own

I will go.

Even so, Father, Here I am. Send Me.
